Vader’s Fist

Loyal Soldiers of the Empire:
For twenty-seven years the 501st Legion has been tasked by Lord Vader to keep the peace in this sector of the galaxy. Brave women and men have marched in every corner of this planet, spreading hope and joy and the magic of Star Wars in a way no other fan could dream possible.
And it’s all because of you.

To celebrate, I am re-running the commemorative Vader’s Fist stained glass coin marking 25 years, the black and red logo set in stained glass. This is my personal banner, the Legion Founder’s insignia, with 25 stars streaking to the heavens to mark every year we’ve rocked conventions, hospitals, charities, books, comics, streaming series, and the movies to hoist Vader’s colors high. But this time there are two new finishes:

Black Series: stained glass bound in black nickel finish
Gold Series: stained glass bound in gold-colored metal finish
Original Series: (In addition, we are doing a small run of the original stained glass coin in plain nickel finish for those who may have missed out on the two runs from last year.)

Many people have asked for these long after we sold out. So hopefully this will give folks a beautiful memento to signify their years of service. And if we can help Make-A-Wish, then all the better! 🙂

The stained glass coin is a proud memento of your time in the Empire and the legacy we’ve built, as well as a gorgeous decorative work of art. It represents everything I hoped for when I founded the club in 1997. But what you’ve done has exceeded my wildest imagination. I am so proud of you all.
Never forget what we’ve accomplished. Thank you and Long Live the Legion!

p.s. I’ve handed dozens of these out to Star Wars actors (as well as some from Star Trek, who looked a little jealous LOL). When Moff Gideon saw his, he said, “For the Empire” and that made it all worthwhile. Thanks for making Star Wars so cool.

Origin of the Vader’s Fist banner

It was 1997 when I created the 501st Squad, an online group dedicated to the Imperial Stormtroopers and those who costume as them. It quickly grew, encompassing all Imperial, bounty hunter, and denizen characters from Star Wars. The Squad became a Legion, and now we are a worldwide family that builds bonds, serves our community, and raises millions for charity.

My logo has always been the namesake of the club I created: Vader’s Fist. A symbol I envisioned from the epic scene in ESB and which made a perfect symbol for the troopers who followed him. This year my logo brandishes 25 stars to mark the club’s silver anniversary. May our colors never fade.

Long Live the Legion!
