R2-KT has popped up in a number of places in the Star Wars universe. It all started thanks to Dave Filoni, who decided to feature her in a cameo in the feature length film Clone Wars. Next came toys, books, and ultimately a cameo in real-life in Star Wars : The Force Awakens.
