AmbassaDroids – KT29 – Eastern Pennsylvania, USA

After 10 years living the life of Darth Vader in the 501st Legion, David realized that he was too old to carry the weight of that costume for 20 to 30 troops a year any more. He has always been in awe of the KT Corps and when the idea of Building a droid came up, there was never a question as to which droid to build. It had to be a KT.

“Upon starting this journey, I was blessed to have a great support system. My understanding wife allowed half the dinning room to disappear for two years while I assembled, and reassembled the droid. Also, my employer, upon hearing of my project and learning more about R2-KT and her story, graciously donated nearly all the 3D filament I needed for the project. As well as provided printer resources on top of my own. Now that she is completed, we are excited about the future and what it holds for us. We are looking forward to getting out there and doing some good things here in the Mid-Atlantic Region.”
