KT starred in her home town as a steady stream of admirers came to meet her. A young man approached saying he had been one of Katie’s classmates back at her grade school of Nursery Road Elementary. He shared his happiness in seeing KT as a reminder of the young lady he had prayed for and defended when kids made ugly remarks about her during cancer treatment. What a magical day.
